Using ¼” seam allowance, sew the blocks together as indicated. Sew  each row together and press.

     2.       Add the 2 ½” top and bottom borders, trimming the excess border fabric even with the rest of the quilt  top.   Repeat this step for the side borders, piecing as necessary.

     3.       Add the 4 ½” top and bottom borders, trimming the excess border fabric even with the rest of the quilt top.   Repeat this step for the side borders, piecing as necessary.

4.       A quilt label, the backing and strips for binding are

folded separately in your quilt kit. Layer the quilt

top over 1/8 – 1/4 inch low loft batting and

backing. Quilt as you desire. Remember that this

quilt will be loved and washed a lot, so make sure

that there is enough quilting to hold the quilt together

for a long time. Bind as desired.

5.      Sew the label on all four sides of the BACK (bottom) of the quilt. Please do not tuck the label into the seam. Sign the back of the quilt with a permanent fabric marker (or with stitches).

6.    Wash and dry the completed quilt. (Do not use fabric softener).

7.       A central drop-off has been established at the Quilt Sampler located at 6024  South Sheridan, Tulsa, Oklahoma (918) 493-3388 for the return of the finished quilt along with any fabric remnants.

In order to assist in the allocation of quilt kits, your completed quilt should

be returned to the same source where the kit was originally picked up.

Your quilt will bring joy to a child in crisis. Thank you for your support.
